TAAG Angola Airlines has ended its partnership with HiFly and taken full control of the Luanda-Lisbon route using its international Boeing 777-300ER fleet.
This announcement was made by Nelson de Oliveira, President of TAAG’s Executive Committee, during the inauguration of a new corporate customer service store located in Cidade Financeira, Talatona, on Friday.
“TAAG has resumed its DTT 5.2 flight, which departs from Luanda at 12:30 p.m., ending the service provided by HiFly.
Currently, only TAAG will operate flights to Lisbon, either the DTT 5.2, which departs at 10:30 a.m., or the DTT 50, which leaves at 8 p.m.,” de Oliveira explained.
During the store opening, de Oliveira emphasized the airline’s commitment to digitalization and enhancing customer experience.
The new store features two counters and various service areas, aimed at providing more personalized service for corporate clients and addressing customer complaints.
“We aim to offer a more personalized service for our corporate customers and those needing specific assistance. Previously, we only had one such store at 4 de Fevereiro Airport. Our goal is to expand this efficient service across the country,” he said.
Although de Oliveira did not provide specific dates for the rollout of new stores, he indicated that the timing would depend on the completion of construction projects. TAAG plans to open additional stores in Luanda and other provinces as soon as facilities are available.
He also mentioned the upcoming inauguration of facilities at Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport, which will handle various company functions, especially customer service.
“Depending on the availability of new infrastructure, we will expand our services. We are exploring new locations from the lower part of the city to other strategic municipalities to meet demand and speed up services,” de Oliveira concluded.
