More than 40 travel agents from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) attended the inaugural meeting hosted by Angolan Airlines (TAAG) in Kinshasa on Wednesday last week.
This event, themed “Fly with TAAG,” aimed to showcase the benefits of TAAG’s products and services and promote routes from Kinshasa, with Luanda serving as the central hub connecting DRC to the global network.
According to a statement from TAAG, this initiative underscores the airline’s commitment to developing “Hub Luanda” and solidifying its strategic position as a key connector for nations and economies across the continent.
TAAG has been servicing the Kinshasa route for over a decade, experiencing increasing demand, particularly among corporate passengers.
The current schedule includes four weekly flights from Luanda on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, operated by DASH-8 aircraft.
These planes have a capacity of 74 passengers, accommodating 64 in economy class and 10 in business class.
