South African Airways to Launch Twice-Daily Johannesburg–Gaborone Flights

SAA Expands Regional Network with New Twice-Daily Flights Between Johannesburg and Gaborone

South African Airways (SAA) has announced the launch of a twice-daily service connecting Johannesburg and Gaborone, Botswana, starting Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Reservations for the new route are now available on flysaa.com. The expansion strengthens SAA’s regional connectivity, offering both business and leisure travelers greater convenience.

Flight Schedule

The new route features two daily return flights operating seven days a week:

Morning service: Departs Johannesburg at 06:50, arrives in Gaborone at 07:45; return flight departs Gaborone at 08:25, arriving in Johannesburg at 09:25.

Afternoon service: Departs Johannesburg at 16:25, arrives in Gaborone at 17:20; return flight leaves Gaborone at 18:00, arriving in Johannesburg at 19:00.
