Reload Logistics, a prominent provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, has announced the expansion of its Reload Giga Terminal (RGT) facility in Zambia.
Located strategically in Kasumbalesa near the Congo-Zambia border, the expanded facility reinforces Reload’s leadership in facilitating regional trade.
Accredited by the Zambian Revenue Authority (ZRA), RGT enables seamless same-day offloading and reloading of trucks, minimizing paperwork, inspections, and delays.
The expansion includes an increase in storage capacity, offering 60,000 sqm of covered storage and 20,000 sqm of secure bonded yard.
This expansion enhances cargo handling efficiency and accommodates diverse commodities securely. RGT ensures robust security measures with 24/7 surveillance, strategically placed cameras, and dedicated personnel for continuous monitoring.
Adopting the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method, RGT provides efficient cargo handling practices and ample parking space for over 1000 trucks.
The terminal caters to various commodities such as copper concentrate, copper cathodes, sulphur, blisters, and more, positioning itself as a comprehensive warehousing solution in Zambia.
