Hong Kong International Airport has once again secured its position as the world’s busiest cargo airport in 2023, as reported by the latest data from the Airports Council International (ACI).
Tom Owen, Director Cargo of Cathay Pacific, expressed pride in Hong Kong’s air cargo community, attributing the achievement to their resilience, innovation, and collaboration.
He emphasized Hong Kong’s exceptional infrastructure, expertise, and connectivity within the Greater Bay Area, reaffirming its leading role in the global air cargo industry.
Clarence Tai, Chief Operating Officer of Air Hong Kong, echoed Owen’s sentiments, highlighting the expertise and dedication of the local air cargo community.
He reiterated their commitment to collaborate with key stakeholders to further enhance Hong Kong’s air cargo capabilities and maintain its status as the premier air cargo gateway connecting China with the world.
