Etihad Cargo and WFS Forge Three-Year Global Cargo Partnership

Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics division of Etihad Airways, has entered a strategic partnership with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a subsidiary of the SATS Group.

This collaboration spans 12 major international airports, enhancing efficiency and service quality in key trade regions worldwide.

Over the next three years, WFS will provide cargo handling services for Etihad Cargo, managing an annual volume exceeding 150,000 tonnes for the Abu Dhabi-based carrier.

The partnership covers prominent airports in Europe, Scandinavia, North America, India, and Asia, including hubs such as Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Bengaluru, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Madrid, and Paris CDG.

In North America, it includes established handling operations in New York JFK and Washington Dulles, as well as contracts for Boston and Chicago.

Etihad Cargo, strategically located in Abu Dhabi, serves as a vital link in global trade routes, connecting markets across Africa, America, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.

It offers cargo transportation via passenger and freighter aircraft, supported by an extensive trucking network.

Since its establishment in 2004, Etihad Cargo has become a leading air cargo carrier, serving clients across five continents. In addition to general cargo, it provides specialty services for live animals, hazardous materials, valuables, personal effects, and tailored cold chain solutions for pharmaceuticals and perishables.
